"Take It Greasy" was the first album to be released by Australian 50's retro band Ol' 55. The album sold very well in Australia, reaching number 3 on the national charts and was awarded a platinum record. At the time, 1950s music and culture had gained a new found interest in Australia amongst a younger generation, largely due to the influence of the very popular TV show Happy Days.
