The Keating Hotel project was designed by Pininfarina Extra, a division of the Pininfarina Group. The Keating Hotel Group has an exclusive long-term contractual arrangement to be the exclusive operator, developer and franchiser of Pininfarina branded boutique hotels.

The Keating Hotel Management Company

The Keating Hotel Management Company (KHMC) is a wholly independent entity established to carryout the operational management of Keating Hotels worldwide.

With the express contracted obligation to provide exceptional, personalized, high-end service to each member of TKHG’s properties, KHMC has been staffed and charged to effectively transplant the same level of service worldwide and to implement stringent Brand Standards. Concentrating on strong customer service fundamentals, hiring, grooming and retaining highly professional staff personnel, and utilizing the San Diego hotel as an operational training ground, KHMC is poised to meet and exceed the expectations of both senior management, joint venture partners, Pininfarina, investors, and most importantly “brand integrity.”

KHG and Pininfarina teamed up to introduce the first Keating Hotel property in San Diego. The combination of KHG, Pininfarina will provide the design for every detail of each property including all interior and exterior design, common areas, hotel rooms, restaurant and lounge spaces, leisure areas and all furnishings.

Combining Pininfarina’s expertise in both aesthetic and industrial design, not only will each component be entirely visually enticing, but will be ergonomically comforting. Recently, The Keating Hotel by Pininfarina was named the project winner of the inaugural Earth-Minded Award (EMA), presented by Hospitality Design (HD) magazine and American Society of Interior Designers(ASID), for its efforts in maximizing sustainable materials within the hotel, as well as its conscious efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

The Keating Hotel by Pininfarina received recognition by Fortune Magazine as one of the Best Business Hotels in the U.S. 2008.

The Keating Hotel by Pininfarina received the hugely coveted Boutique Hotel Owner of the Year Award at the 2008 HotelWorld Awards Competition.
