Hollis 'Holly' P. Flax is a fictional character from the US television series The Office. She is played by Amy Ryan.

Overview

When the character is introduced at the end of the fourth season of The Office, Holly Flax is Toby Flenderson's replacement as the human resources representative. She has a sense of humor much like Michael Scott's.

Season 4

Holly Arrives at Dunder Mifflin to serve as Toby's replacement. Micheal initially dislikes her, because she is part of HR, but the two eventually hit it off, and Michael falls in love with her. She was subjected to hazing by Dwight, who convinced her that Kevin was mentally challenged, and attempted to put a raccoon in her car.

Season 5

Michael has been hitting it off with Holly in the first episode of the season. Holly continues to be a "major dork" just like Michael. Holly is into yoga, and Oscar refers Holly to a yoga class with an attractive teacher, whom Holly begins dating. (Much to Michael's dismay.) Holly buys tickets for The Counting Crows but the yoga guy never calls. Michael doesn't pick up the hints that Holly is dropping him, buys the tickets, and rips them up.
