The school offers 3 different courses to take at GCSE level. These are:

- ECDL
In addition, every classroom that is in the school is being updated to have projectors. Teachers use the projectors to show presentations, videos, etc.

Technology facilities
Twynham schools techonology block has 2 cookery rooms, 1 textiles room, 3 Resistant matirial Rooms and 1 graphics room. The faculties of all these rooms are apropriate to the topic they teach. There is also a technology IT room which is full of computers.
Sports facilities
The school has its own playing fields, tennis courts, and gym. Students in years 7-9 have 2 lessons a week of PE. And at years 10-11 they have to have 1 lesson a week, unless they take the GCSE PE course. A new sports hall facility is hoped to be built in the near future. The plans went ahead until, unfortunately, Dorset County Council changed their minds and decided not to fund the facility. At the moment the issue is being discussed.
