Fatehpur is a city and a municipal board in Fatehpur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Geography
Fatehpur is located at 25°56′N 80°48′E / 25.93°N 80.8°E. It has an average elevation of 110 metres (360 feet).[1]
Demographics
As of 2001 India census[2], Fatehpur had a population of 151,757. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Fatehpur has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 55%. In Fatehpur, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
