Computer problem

A box with a solid blue bar across the top with the label “Google Toolbar” showed up on my Desktop when I turned my computer on a few days ago. It is in the center of the screen and measures about 10” wide by 7” high. I cannot close or minimize it, but I can move it almost completely out of sight by sliding it to the bottom of the Desktop. On the tray at the Desktop bottom is the usual "in use" 2" wide box that says: Google Toolbar, but clicking on it does no good.

Everything on my computer is normal except for this mystery box. When I right click, on "Properties" of this thing it shows the following (URL):

This program cannot display the webpage



Most likely causes:

You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.


Retype the address.
