On February 11 2008, lead singer and guitarist Alex Ohm performed an acoustic version of their debut single during the half-time at the Wolverhampton Wanderers versus Stoke City Championship football match to more than 20,000 people.[2] During early 2008, the Lines toured the UK in support of Little Man Tate (band), at concerts throughout & after the tour Little Man Tate (band) have claimed The Lines blew them off the stage every night, and are the best band in the UK right now. The Lines staged concerts of their own, including sell-out shows at local Wolverhampton venues Little Civic, Civic Bar and, on February 23 2008, the 1,200 capacity Wulfrun Hall.
