How old are these towns really?

I am a little puzzled about exactly what happened in 1907 concerning the establishment of the Huntley Project towns. Would appreciate help from Those Who Know. I've tried to hide my confusion :-) behind vagueness, e.g.: "In 1907 the new Huntley Project townsites of Worden, Ballantine, and Pompeys Pillar were laid out at intervals of about six miles along the railroad." -- Rob C (Alarob) 18:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest with you. I've looked at the information as well and it does seem to be a little bit confusing as well. For example, when the railroad was set up, the towns of huntley, worden, and ballantine were set up to be about 6 miles apart. but driving it today is not the case. I'll look into it and try to get some better understanding from the director of the museum and other resources.

On another note, I've added some information that is pertinent to the Huntley Project area. I hope it will be of benefit to the Huntley Project area. If it needs to be changed up a bit or rearranged, that is ok, but please don't just delete information if it doesn't jive with what you might think.
