This article should include a list of the drugs that are thought to be neuroprotective. Minocycline, acamprosate, creatine, etc.

Erythropoietin

  - I agree. Neuroprotection is a generalized term refering to the effect of any chemical, biological molecule or medical practice which has a protective effect against neurological disease or injury.
