Marpessa Dawn (also known as Gypsy Marpessa Dawn Menor) (January 3, 1934August 25, 2008) was an actress, singer,and dancer. Known Spouses: Marcel Camus, George Eric Vander Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania of African-American and Filipino heritage, she is best known for her role as Eurydice in the film Black Orpheus.

The cause of death was a heart attack.
