Mumtaz
Appearance
Mumtaz is an Arabic word (then adopted by Turkish, Persian and Urdu) meaning "the distinguished," "the best" or "prominent." It is commonly used as a male name in Afghanistan, and Turkey and the Muslim community in India and Pakistan as well as in Malaysia and Brunei, but can also be used as a female name. The term is not used as a common name in the Arab world.
