PAGE DELETION

This page is about one of Youtube's most popular people this article is within the lines and should not be deleted. There are articles about Youtuber's that are far less popular it is only fit that one of the top Youtuber's has this page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Kyle1278 (talkcontribs) 13:05, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not about being popular to have a Wikipedia page. Please read WP:BIO. --TwentiethApril1986 (want to talk?) 17:11, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the Wikipedia criteria for a entertainer having a bio page it states thus:

Actors, comedians, opinion makers, models, and television personalities:
        * Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.

This is clearly applicable to Philip DeFranco (aka sxephil) as he has about 300,000 subscribers on youtube, so I don't think this needs to be discussed further.Ezzi386 (talk) 05:44, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with that, the tag for deletion should really be removed, as Philip has a large fanbase compared with others on Wikipedia. I'ld also point out he is frequently put on Youtube most watched video's daily. 80.1.123.92 (talk) 22:57, 23 December 2008 (UTC) T Slogrove[reply]
