Patio Rooms are permanent structures with 3-walls and a roof which are attached to residential or commercial buildings. Patio Rooms were developed as an affordable alternative to standard construction. They provide an expansion to residential living space serving as home offices, television or games rooms, and exercise areas. Commercial Businesses such as restaurants often use these patio rooms as dining and waiting areas.

Construction Materials:

Modern Patio Rooms are made of advanced materials such as Polystyrene which make them incredibly insulated, strong, and weather resident, which spawned the term Four Season Rooms.

History:

The Picket Screen Enclosure System was invented by Tony Bouquot. The term Garden Room, an off-take from the traditional Patio Room was coined by Lynn Rolfe.
