Funšterc is Slovenian national dish also known as;knapovsko sonce, knapovska torta, rudarsko sonce.Made of carski praženec, which is something of a cross between a crepe and a pancake. The French may claim to have invented the crepe, but any Slovenian knows that Napoleon brought it back to France after he learned about it from Slovenians in the Napoleonic Wars! Funšterc was eaten by Trbovlje miners.Beside funšterc miners from Trbovlje also ate granadirmarsh, which is mixture between potatoes and pasta.
