Willi Heinrich

German author. Served in World War Two on the Eastern Front, where his division took casualties equal to 700% of its original strength. His books include The Willing Flesh, which was translated into English under the name Cross of Iron, and had a Sam Peckinpah movie made of it.

Other books by Heinrich include Crack of Doom.
