Portuguese Second Division: Serie A
Portuguese Second Division Serie A is one of four Divisions in the third level of Portuguese football and contains teams from the northern part of the country. The current winners of the 2007/08 season are GD Chaves but they lost out in the play offs for promotion finishing fourth and the second placed team also qualified which was GD Ribeirão who eventually lost out like GD Chaves but this time in third place and there currently 12 teams competing in the Serie A.
