whirl_editing

whirl_editing began contributing to Wikipedia on January 24th 2009, replacing Edito*Magica, who was wrongly blocked after being accused of vandalism. This misunderstanding came about because Edito*Magica sometimes uses a shared internet service and thus I.P address.

  • Hi,

What do think about moving the character descriptions to a new page?...there is already character description in the plot section, and i think the character section does make the page a little too long? Tell me what you think. Thanks.Whirl*editing (talk) 14:01, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi, I think we discussed this before when you were Edito*Magica, but I still think it's a bad idea - the page needs character descriptions to make it comprehensive for readers. By comparison to some articles, the page isn't very long at all, and it's not justified to have a separate page for what are essentially six major characters. There aren't that many minor recurring characters, either, so it wouldn't even be justified as an extended page. In my experience, individual character pages tend to be rather poor quality, and if you look at Wikipedia article traffic statistics, spin-off pages are rarely viewed.
