Beyonce has had 4 numbers 1 singles and has sold over 25 million albums and 50 million Records in the uk alone.She started up in a group called Destiny's Child and they had 2 number singles in a row, Independent Women and Survivor. She has had 12 uk top tens and 15 top 40 singles. The single Crazy in love was her very first solo single and is still her best selling single, she sang the single along side her husband Jay-Z. She is currently in top of the uk R&B with her hit single Single Ladies for the second week, it is her second uk R&B number 1 single after having If I were a boy in number 1 for two runs just before the single ladies went to number 1. Her album I am... sasha Firce is currently at number of the uk R&B album chart for the third week after knocking Leona Lewis album Spirit of the top spot but it is a number 7 this week at the proper uk album chart

X factor and Alexandra Burke

Knowles went to the X factor and performed a dou with the x factor winner Alexandra Burke at the final, they performed together the classic Dreamgirls single listen which Burke performed two weeks before the final and it reached number 8 of the uk singles chart a week after Alexandra won the show. After Burke had won the show, she said on the xtra factor on ITV2 to Holly Willoughby and the other x factor contestants that Beyonce wants Alex to go with her on tour and she wants the pair to do a duet. Burke said after performing with Beyonce she can tick another thing that she has always wanted to do off her list.
