Mohra Sharif (Holy Village; Mohra for "small village" and Sharif for "holy" or "noble") is an isolated mountain monastery and home of the Naqshbandia Mujaddadiya. Qasimiya The Qasimiya or Qasmi order, is a Naqshbandi in origin, and is based in a small village called Mohra Shareef located in the Murree hills of Punjab, Pakistan outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad. It was made into a spiritual center by Hazrat Baba Ji Muhammad Qasim Sadiq (b. 1263 A.H.).

His Holiness Hazrat Baba Ji Muhammad Qasim Sadiq Passed away on the 20th November of 1943 leaving behind millions of disciplines and devotees to mourn him. His funeral prayers were offered three times on the day of his demise due to ever swelling number of mourners attending his funeral.

After his death the led by his son Pir Muhammad Zahid Khan Sahib Known as Pir Khan Sahib Khawaja Gharib Nawaz. During his life time, Hazrat Baba Ji Muhammad Qasim Sadiq had chosen out of his 6 sons, his third son Khwaja Pir Muhammad Zahid Khan Sahib as his successor due to his outstanding pious and righteous character.

Khawaja Gharib Nawaz was the first Sajjad Nasheen of Mohra Sharif or Mohra Shareef. He was loved and respected by millions across the world. During his lifetime, he appointed his eldest son, Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasmi, his successor. But Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasmi Sahib passed away one year before Khawaja Gharib Nawaz.

Khawaja Gharib Nawaz passed away on December 9th, 1993 and after his death the order led by his second son Hazrat Pir Keumras Badshah known as Hazrat Khawaja Pir Badshah Sahib, who passed away on 13th August, 2008. After Pir Badshah's death, Pir Auliya Badshah Farooq become the Sajjada Nasheen (Custodian of Saint's Tomb) of Mohra Sharif.



Sons of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasmi Sahib (RA)

Pir Jehanzeb Badshah Qasmi resides in Britain spreading the peaceful message of Islam there, due to this the responsibilities of Mohra Shareef have been taken up by Pir Aurangzeb Badshah Qasmi his younger brother. Dr. Pir Fazeel Ayaz, a physican before he decided to devote his life to the cause of Islam, now travels the world propagating the message of Islam, as done by his forefathers

Sons of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Keumras Badshah Sahib (RA)

Hazrat Pir Saleem Badshah Zahidi Sahib is the eldest of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Keumras Badshah (RA), who is the appointed Janisheen of Khawaja Pir Keumras Badshah (RA) is engaged in passing the teachings of Baba Jee Khawaja Qasim across the world. He has appointed his younger brothers Pir Tariq Badshah Zahidi to take responsibiliy of spreading the teachings of Baba Jee (RA) across Asia and Sahibzada Faisal Badshah Zahidi to propagate the beautiful teachings of Baba Jee Khawaja Qasim (RA) across Europe. Sahibzada Faisal Badshah Zahidi is currently residing in UK carrying out his duties as instructed by his eldest brother Hazrat Pir Saleem Badshah Sahib. Sahibzada Faisal Badshah Zahidi is also the Khalifa of Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz Pir Khan Sahib (RA). Note: Zahidi is a title used by the followers of Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz Hazrat Khawaja Pir Khan Sahib (RA) (Due to name of Sheikh is Zahid) expressing their love for their Murshid.

The youngest sons of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Keumras Badshah (RA), Sahibzada Bilal Badshah Sahib and Sahibzada Usman Badshah Sahib are also supporting the family in this noble work.

Sons of Hazrat Pir Auliya Badshah Farooq Sahib

Hazrat Pir Auliya Badshah Farooq Sahib has only one son Sahibzada Farooq Badshah who has the responsibility to propagate the beautiful teachings of Baba Jee (RA) across Pakistan and Europe.

Note: RA is a short for Rehmatullah Alay means Allah's blessings upon him

Religious festivals

Twice a year, in last week of May and November, there are congregations, attended by thousands, held to commemorate Hazrat Khawaja Pir Muhammad Qasim Sadiq's (Baba Ji), Hazrat Khawaja Ghareeb Nawaz Pir Khan Sahib and Hazrat Khawaja Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasmi.
