The Giromon is a pumpkin variety, grown in the Antilles. Its skin is green with dark spots and its flesh is orange in colour. The pulp of giromon is used in Haiti for a kind of soup called "soupe giromon". This soup is traditionally part of the menu at New Year's Day.
