Nikita Hopkins

Is it factual that Nikita Hopkins is dead according to this article? because the article about Nikita Hopkins doesn't claim she/he's dead, nor does other websites/web searches! Is this accurate? What "proof" is there that she/he died? Also, two facts are repeated twice, about Nikita Hopkins voicing Roo for the last time in this film.
