Template:Infobox Ort in Österreich Saalfelden (full name Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, in Bavarian: Såiföin) is a city in the Austrian state of Salzburg and is the administrative centre of the Pinzgauer Saalachtal. With approximately 17,000 inhabitants (late 2004), Saalfelden is also the largest city of the Pinzgau.

Although Saalfelden since time immemorial has been the most populous parish of the Pinzgau, the city is not the seat of the district administration. This is situated in the neighboring town of Zell am See and is part of the High King Mountain Ski Area.
