Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar Sri kularanmeeba Kathiri Bavana Mahaa Radunwas the sultan of Maldives from 1648 to 1687.He was the son of HH Sultan Muhanmed Imaaduddine I and Kabaa Aisha.He ascended to the throne of Maldives after the death of his father.When he became the sultan of the nation he was just only 18.

Sultan Iskandhar was pious man with a very kind heart.People loved him so much.In his reign He rebuilt the friday mosque in male and Started to educate people by teaching Fiqh and Quran.

The sultan Passed away on 1687 after ruling nearly for 40 years. [1]
