Sorosis Park is located in The Dalles, Oregon. The park is 15 acres in size and has picnic tables, shelters, baseball fields, tennis courts, a playground, and a running trail. The park is also known for a number of large Ponderosa Pines. The park was formed by a early days womens group called the Sorosis Club. Sorosis from Greek means "a multiple fruit formed from many flowers". The park also contains a rose garden with the Vogt Fountain as the center peice.
