Music video

Song Meaning

In an Altitude TV acoustic version of 'Dear Maria'/interview, Alex (the vocalist) said, "This girl that I know told me that she had become a stripper and I thought that was hilarious... and awesome." In another interview, Alex quoted that the lyrics of the chorus "I got your picture, I'm coming with you, Dear Maria, count me in" has a deeper meaning of which it can be translated into himself wishing that Maria would have a drink at the bar with him and perhaps give him a lap dance.
