Sir Henry Cooper School is a coeducational, secondary school on Thorpepark Road in Kingston upon Hull, England. It is in the Orchard Park Estate.
History
It opened in September 1967. It suffered an arson attack in February 2007.
School future
It is planned to turn it into an Academy, to be known as the Northern Academy and sponsored by the University of Hull. However local residents are unhappy about the plans as it may affect flooding.
Academic performance
It gets GCSEs well under the England average and the minimum expected of comprehensives. It does not have a sixth form like virtually all secondary schools in Hull.
