Charles "Chick" Young is a BBC Scotland football pundit, who regularly appears on Sportscene and Sportsound. He claims to be a St Mirren supporter.

His trademark laugh and speech patterns have made him a popular target for lampooning on the BBC Scotland sports comedy Only an Excuse? [1]

Chick Young is married to but separated from Middle of the Road lead singer Sally Carr.[2]
