Merchandise
Delia's sells footwear, apparel, accessories, undergarments, loungewear/dormwear, and swimwear. Many of the t-shirts have novelty relations such as a t-shirt with a dictionary on it, and the dictionary is has "Word!" emblazoned on its cover. One may even consider the t-shirt as humor apparel. Another aspect of the Delia's merchandise is that it is known for being one of the only trendy stores that offers pants in many inseam lengths, though this is only true for select pant collections. Delia's also offers a, though less-varied, extended size repertoire. It is a popular misconception that Delia's is named after the founder of the store. However, the store was originally named after Delilah, the biblical character.
