History
On the June 12 edition of Impact!, Storm and Roode, challenged LAX for the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Storm and Roode were successful in winning the match following a Last Call from Storm to Hernandez with a belt wrapped around his boot. Hector Guerrero (LAX's manager), who was at ringside however, informed the referee about what happened and the match was restarted. LAX ended up retaining the titles following a Border Toss from Hernandez to Storm. After the match, Storm, Roode and Jacqueline handcuffed LAX to the ring posts, and then proceeded to whip them with leather belts. Later that night they challenged LAX to retaliate. The next week on Impact!, LAX challenged Storm and Roode to a Fan's Revenge Match at Victory Road for the titles, which would involve the two teams fighting in a ring surrounded by LAX fans armed with leather belts. Beer Money then started a large losing streak, losing to the Motor City Machine Guns in one match and Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash in another. At Victory Road, LAX retained the titles after an Elevated Cutter. At Hard Justice there was a rematch where Beer Money defeated LAX after Roode hit Homicide with a beer bottle and won the TNA World Tag Team Championship for the first time. In the rematch at No Surrender Beer Money Inc defeated LAX to retain the titles after Jacqueline threw white powder in Homicides eyes followed by a Payoff from Roode. On the next Impact! they faced LAX again in a 6 person mixed tag (with the 2 teams managers also competing) with the added stipulation that the losing team would lose the services of their manager, Jacqueline for Beer Money or Hector Guerrero for LAX, after ironically Jacqueline distracted the referee and was ran out of the arena by Homicide, allowing Roode to strike Hernandez with Storm’s customised beer helmet to get the win, forcing Hector Guerrero to disband from LAX.
After the long feud with LAX and repeated wins, Beer Money demanded better competition to which Jim Cornette told them that after repeated fowl play they would be put into a four way tag match against Team 3D, LAX and the team of Matt Morgan and Abyss at Bound for Glory IV, which was later revealed by Team 3D to be a Monster's Ball match. At Bound for Glory, Beer Money retained by pinning Hernandez after he had been 3D’d through a table covered in thumb-tacks. On the January 8th Impact! edition they lost the titles to Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed after Lethal cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase after Roode’s leg was injured in a singles match, making it a handicap match. At Genesis they won back the TNA World Tag Team Championships they defeated Morgan and Abyss and Lethal and Creed in a 3-way match. Beer Money Inc faced Creed and Jay Lethal again at Against All Odds Eventually Beer Money retained the titles after Storm knocking out Lethal with a chain wrapped around his fist.
Beer Money, claiming they had beat every team in TNA, started an “Off the wagon challenge” where the stipulation was that any 2 wrestlers could challenge them and they would put their tag team titles on the line, however if they pinned or submitted one of the opponents they would be released from TNA. They were first challenged by Eric Young and Petey Williams in which Williams was pinned following an attempt to use the Canadian Destroyer on Jacqueline ending in a Superkick from Storm to pin Williams. The second challengers were The Rock 'n Rave Infection who were defeated after Lance Rock was pinned. After this Team 3D challenged Beer Money to a match at Destination X with the “Off the wagon” stipulation, in which Beer Money got themselves disqualified, however Jim Cornette restarted the match in which Roode walked out with Storm draped over his shoulder, resulting in a count-out. The following Impact! Beer Money Inc. came out and challenged Team 3D to a rematch at Lockdown, claiming that they felt they needed to beat Team 3D in their hometown of Philadelphia to truly be the best tag team in the world. Team 3D not only accepted but added their IWGP Tag Team Championship to the match.
