You Will Know is a hit 1988 R&B ballad by Grammy Award-winning American Motown recording artist Stevie Wonder, taken from his Characters album. It is the opening track on the album, and is the third and final single from the album as well.

Overview

"You Will Know" is about a protagonist claims that in hope for answers to an unsolved solution, whether in a state of depression, or hoping for a better tomorrow, despite the magnitude.

In March of 1988, the song reached #77 on the Billboard Hot 100, #16 on the Adult Contemporary Charts, and #1 on the R&B charts.
