I am not disputing the decision, just saying that from the point of view of bona fide academic response, Wikipedia moves very quickly. Further, I don't see any consensus here - how is it actually decided that there's consensus? I may be completely wrong (as this discussion is confused and opaque to me) how does linguistics end up with "meaning"? Is there a disambiguation article proposed? I'm so confused.
