Juglot is a town in Gilgit District Pakistan situates 45km south of Gilgit on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). Jaglot a fertile valley with rich natural resources is a business hub of the Northern Areas because all the six districts have access through Juglot and has the biggest oil, wheat and flour depots for Northern Areas. The population of proper Juglot excluding villages is approximately 6000 and 800 houses with an education ratio of 33%. Jaglot has about 15 villages including Damote(shahot,kot,barmas,Gushot,bargin,and summer meadows for animal grazing), Chakarkot(Sabil,shumrote,Jagot,) and Gasho Pahote, and is a junction point of three mountain ranges, the Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindu Kush. Tribal ratio is 30% shin including the Koliwal shin{(Gabare)and Chillisso) inhabitants of proper Juglot sai} 23% Yashkun and the rest of population belogs to inferior tribes,Like Kashmiris,occupy major area and population portion of proper juglot,karamin dom, Marotche & pathans,
