Acapulco Mexican Restaurant and Cantina is was founded in 1960 in Pasadena, California. They currently have restaurants in California and Oregon. The restaurant chain is owned by Real Mex Restaurants which is headquartered in Cypress, California.[1] There are currently 36 restaurants.[2]

Acapulco's menu consists of many items to include tostadas, enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, and tacos. Also available are a variety of soups and salads. A fully stocked bar is also a staple at all locations. A variety of Mexican beer and spirits are served.

Design

Acapulco restaurants are primarily free-standing and located in urban and suburban destinations. The concept utilizes three models for restaurant décor, including Hacienda, Aztec and Resort that resemble a neighborhood cantina. In addition, most Acapulco locations offer outdoor patios enabling guests to dine outside.
