Discuss about the flow rate of tungsten carbide. Mang people don't know the Mean of "flow rate" of our last tungsten carbide grade table . So let us study it .

In conventional P/M operations, where automated high-speed compacting presses are routinely used, the ability of a metal powder to flow rapidly and smoothly from a container into the compactioin tooling cavities is extremely important. This characteristic of powders is,like apparent density, primarily related to inerpraticle friction. In general, those factors which reduce interparticle friction. In general, those factors which reduce interparticle friction and/or increase apparent density(such as particle smoothness and sphericity)will improve the flow behavior of a powder.

The terms "flow rate","flow time" and flowability" are often used virtually interchangeably in discussions of powder flow. The standarized test for the flow of metal powder(ASTM B213) actually measures the time required for 50 grams of the loose powder to flow under the action of gravity through the orifice of a Hall funnel.Of course, the mass flow rate of the powder is inv ersely proportional to this flow time. 发贴者 welcome to discuss tungsten carbide together link title
