{disambiguation} Chiana is about 24kilometres west of navrongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana. A Kasena community with a population of about 30,000 people. The origins of the people Chiana have their roots from Chakani near Burkina Fasso. The history of the founder of Chiana is varied in content and this is largely because there were different periods of migrations and settlements.The move was as a result of wars, disputes and rebellions that forced the people to migrate to their present place. There was a political and traditional dispute between two brothers, the projeny of Tiyolo wusali-bu (wusiga) in the state of Pindaa.
