Ftelia, Drama

Ftelia is a village in the Drama prefecture, in northeastern Greece. Its population is approximately 500 (2005 est.). Its name in Greek means the tree elm. It is situated 9k m to the south of the city of Drama in Macedonia, Greece. It is part of the municipality of Kalampaki. A large part of its residents are descendants of Greeks which were expelled from Eastern Rumelia (now a region of southern Bulgaria) by Bulgarians during the Balkan Wars.

It has a primary school. It also has a football team named Aris Ftelias which takes part in the prefecture of Drama amateur division.
