Gary Hurney (born 1981 in Abbeyside, County Waterford) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and gaelic football with his local club Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA and with both Waterford senior inter-county teams. Gary is the current captain of the Waterford Senior Gaelic Football team and is considered to be the onre of the best Waterford footballers of the modern era.
