Love Rocket is the debut release by American glam metal band Steel Panther (also known as Metal Shop and Metal Skool). It was a promotional one-track single released by Discover Card to coincide with a televised advertising campaign that featured the band, jokingly marketted as an original release from 1983 that Discover Card were financing the re-release of. The band name Danger Kitty was never an official name for the band, but a pseudonym they used specifically for the advert, at the time they were still professionally known as Metal Shop.
