It became his first number one hit there, topping the chart and knocking off Jamie Foxx's record breaking* 14-week run with "Blame It." "Birthday Sex" also entered the Billboard Hot 100 on the week of April 25, 2009, where it has become a top ten hit for him, climbing to number 9.
