West Mifflin Area School District is a school district in the state of Pennsylvania. It is located in the south hills of Allegheny County. It serves the boroughs of West Mifflin, and Whitaker.The school districts serves approximently 2,900 students.

As of 2007, West Mifflin Area now serves some of Duquesne City's high school students (9-12).This accounts for an additional 80+ students.
