Crisis Law(c)

Crisis Law (c) is a new field of law practice. How the legal process affects the entire family, especially the children is a major consideration. When life issues reach the crisis level, different problems contribute to the crisis. Each must be addressed at the same time. Crisis Lawyers(c) are skilled at breaking down issues and solving the crisis looking at the big picture. The effect on the client and his or her family is the most important factor.

Areas of practice included in Crisis Law(c): family law; domestic violence; criminal law; juvenile law (dependency or delinquency); bankruptcy; special needs children/education; guardianships; real estate; and special needs trusts. A Crisis Law(c) practitioner is skilled in each of these areas.

The Crisis Law(c) practitioner deals with individual and family counseling, medical, accounting, financial and banking issues. A crisis lawyer(c) uses mediation, collaborative practice, class work, education, communication skills training, stress relief activities and other solutions ... legal or non-legal.

Education and information is obtained from numerous sources including web-based and personal one-on-one or classroom interaction. Both profit and not-for-profit organizations are engaged to contribute to the crisis solutions.
