threeASFOUR was established in 2005 by designers Gabi Asfour, Angela Donhauser, and Adi Gil. Initially beginning in 1998 as a foursome; As FOUR[1], an organic reference to the group’s distinctive creative chemistry, evolved into threeASFOUR after the departure of a fourth member in 2005[2]. Innovation through collaboration drives the creative trio. threeASFOUR consistently creates silhouettes inspired by the natural world - the anatomy of the human body, plants, and animals, whose graceful forms exemplify perfection in design, balance and motion. With a vision of fashion meets art in mind, the three employ a three-dimensional approach to cut and construction to create collections that redefine classical tailoring.

Adi, Ange and Gabi won the Ecco Domani Fashion Grant in 2001[3] [4] In 2005 threeASFOUR collaborated with Kate Spade on a collection of clothing as accessories[5] combining evolutionary ideas with their own vision of the classic American dream. In 2007 threeASFOUR was one of ten finalists in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and collaborated with Gap on a limited edition of white poplin shirts[6] . Their work has been included in some of the world’s most prestigious museums including the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute in New York, the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York as well as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and Musee de la Mode et du Costume Galliera in Paris .
