Siadwel (pronounced "Shadwell") was a character, played by actor and comedian John Sparkes in the 1980s BBC sketch show Naked Video.

Siadwel was a Welsh poet who would appear very week, sitting in his bedsit wearing an anorak and thick-rimmed glasses, and greeting viewers with the line "Hello, Siadwel here". He would then proceed to inform viewers what he had been doing since last week's show. One of his most recurrent utterances was "I've been feeling a bit depressed recently".

Siadwel's girlfriend, Gravell, was something of a tough-nut and rode a Welsh motorbike, a Rhondda 500. Gravell eventually left Siadwel for Gary Price, described by Siadwel as "most horrible man in Swansea". Price had allegedly met Siadwel by chance on the street and had given him a haircut (free of charge) with his shoes!

Siadwel appeared in the show between 1986 and 1989, making his final appearance as a ghost (having died of alcohol poisoning the week before) in the final episode of Series 3.
