Rice College is a secondary school in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland founded in 1826. It is also a C.B.S with a house on the property where "Brothers" still reside. No Brothers teach in the secondary school but it was previously run by the religious order. It was formerly an all boys school, but became coeducational in 2001. In 2006 construction started on an extension and was completed in early 2007.

Entrance into the college is quite difficult and therefore most students that are accepted come from the primary school next door. All prospective students must complete an aptitude test before acceptance. The school offers a wide range of subjects for students to choose from and requires first years to do all the subjects to allow them to make a more informed decision of what they would like to do. As of the previous school year, the transition year has been introduced again with a class of 20-24 students being taken on. It would appear to have been a success. Students are required to wear a uniform that consists of a blue shirt, navy v-necked jumper with school crest to the left of the v, black shoes, grey slacks for boys and navy, green & white tartan skirt with knee high navy socks or tights for girls.
