Kurt Olson is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 33rd District since 2004. [1] He is currently serving as Chair of the Labor & Commerce Committee, and is a member of the Resources Committee, Rules Committee, and Military & Veterans' Affairs Special Committee. He also serves on the Administration, Environmental Conservation, Fish & Game Finance Subcommittees, for the 26th Legislature. [2]. Kurt Olson also served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971. [3]


Personal life

Representative Olson has a wife: Barbara and two children: Madelyn and Valerie. Kurt Olson graduated from Cupertino High School in 1966, and received a Bachelor of Arts from the California State University in 1977.[4]
