Bob Herron is a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 38th District since 2008.[1] Before the beginning of the 26th Legislature in January 2008 Representative Herron, along with Democrats Rep. Reggie Joule and Rep. Bryce Edgmon, began caucusing with the Republicans in the House Majority Caucus. Representative Herron is currently serving as Co-Chair of the Community & Regional Affairs Committee, Co-Chair of the Health & Social Services Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Rules Committee. He also serves on the Corrections, Education & Early Development, Health & Social Services, and Labor & Workforce Development Finance Subcommittees, for the 26th Legislature. [2]


Personal life

Representative Herron has a wife: Margaret, three children: Buddy, Charles & Jalene, and 3 Grand Children. Bob Herron graduated from Lathrop High School. [3]
