Adam Wheater (born February 13, 1990 in Whipps Cross, Essex) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper, who currently plays for Essex. Wheater is in the Essex squad for the first time during the 2008 season, having played for the Second XI since 2006.

Wheater made two appearances in the non-first class Pro ARCH Trophy in March 2008 against the United Arab Emirates, and made his first-class debut for Essex against Cambridge UCCE the following month.
