The Territorial Prelature of Tromsø (Latin: Territorialis Praelatura Tromsoean(us)) is a Roman Catholic territorial prelature located in the city of Tromsø in Norway.
History
- April 8, 1931: Established as Mission “sui iuris” of Northern Norway from the Apostolic Vicariate of Norway
- March 10, 1944: Promoted as the Apostolic Prefecture of Northern Norway
- February 18, 1955: Promoted as the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Norway
- March 28, 1979: Promoted as Territorial Prelature of Tromsø
