Stephen Joseph Kosik (born November 16, 1988), also commonly known by his stage names Jomaine & The Ghostrider's Advocate/Advockate is an American Rapper & hip hop activist. He is currently signed to his own independent record label Elite Kingz Entertainment and resides in Toledo, Ohio. Jomaine is the leader of Crimson Minds. He plans to release his first album in January of 2009. The name of the album or the tracks to be featured on the album have yet to be determined. Jomaine also owns a second group known as Sin's Creed. Which he is not a member of but is still openly involved in the promotion of the group. Jomaine is also a highly respected member of the Undertaker Vicelords.

Changing The Music Culture

Jomaine has made contributions to society by encouraging youths to work hard to move up in life. His main point stressed to kids is

"When Hope Is Gone, There's Always An Opportunity, You Just Have To Grab It"

He is also credited with the creation of psychedelic rap & the IRC radio station known as #EliteKingzRadio. To him, the style of rap he uses brings out the full feeling of the music. It's said to stimulate relaxation like the effects of cannabis(marijuana).

"When Jomaine gets in the studio, its like he's in another world. His rap then transforms into its own soul in a way because how it flows so smooth"

Out of those who've heard his style of music, he is considered to be one of the greatest underground producers of his generation and potentially of all-time. This is because of his love of music and the passion that he works with on each project he ever puts his hands on.

Drug Awareness

Jomaine is also publishing his experiences with drugs to help himself and others understand psychedelics and how they can help people in everyday life.

Controversy

Heffty Productions

At the beginning of his rapping career, Jomaine was strictly a lyricist and poet. He appeared with Chryme Squad on their debut album "Kings Of Charisma" on 8 of the 15 tracks. But following this album he was released on the grounds that his image of gangsta rap negatively impacted Heffty Productions. Following his release Jomaine released the track "Like Money" which compared Heffty to loose change and women, both of which can be easily replaced. Heffty rappers 6-Pac & Lugo responded with the track "Vanilla Slice". Jomaine also disses them & Heffty in his upcoming track "They Aint Ready".

Sean Bell Verdict

Jomaine also plans to write about the Sean Bell incident in 2 of his upcoming tracks My Words & Street Justice. These 2 songs will both be featured on his groups first album Crimson Minds Vol. 1 due to be released in 2009. There is also another event in the works in honor Sean Bell & his family.
