I feel that since the chart is to note and place information then the vote ranking in the semi-finals should be noted e.g. Allison was the top female for her group so that is why it says 1 in the female colour. I understand that we don't know the placement between the 2 guys that advanced in each group so that is why I am suggesting that we should put 1-2. I am guessing that Danny, Adam and Scott were the highest male vote recipients and if that is the case then we could either put 2 for the second male advanced or 3 in the palegoldenrod making emphasis that the next selection was out of the next highest vote recipient and not gender related. 92.3.174.44 (talk) 19:43, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

To avoid confusion about the fact that 2 contestants are 1 on their semi-final group (the top male and top female) we could maybe put 'top 13' instead again in the gender colours. So for example: Allison's semi-final result has 'Top 13' in the pink colour showing that she advanced being the top voted female, Adam Lambert would also have 'Top 13' in the cyan colour showing he was the top voted male and Kris Allen would have 'Top 13' in the palegoldenrod colour showing that he was the next highest vote getter who advanced to the top 13. The Wild Cards are in a different colour as they weren't selected by the public.
